Why is indian serial addictive?
Indian serials are targeted to traditional family members. The producers have realized that giving viewers old ideas and things that they like to see are more easier then introducing them to a new one. The whole process of making a serial is to make money so they don't care to create. And more accurately, support a proper show because of risk failure. They went to a short cut by showing them same story. Because of the type of content being fed to public, they have gotten comfortable with show's idealogy and what it potrays. Plots of those serials themselves don't require any critical thinking or reasoning. Constant nonsense drama, fights, sufferring has made a self-insert show of self valication for it's audience i.e. wifes. Bahus (wives) who are too busy for themselves can gain entertainment through inserting themselves as main character. Main character of these serials are those who are the perfect bahus, who have sacraficed so much for their family. The viewer start...
